Gerard visits children’s cancer hospital, orphanage, and shelter for homeless elderly people in Vietnam
In December 2024, Gerard van Tilborg once again visited three special places in Vietnam. He visited a children’s cancer hospital, an orphanage, and a shelter for homeless elderly people. These institutions rely entirely on external donations, as they receive no financial support from the government. That is precisely why extra help is so desperately needed.
During his visit, Gerard saw how even small contributions can have a huge impact. At the children’s cancer hospital, he spoke with doctors and caregivers who, despite limited resources, do everything they can to give children the care they deserve. At the orphanage, it became clear how important it is to have sufficient staff and facilities to provide the children with a safe and loving place to live. At the home for homeless elderly people, Gerard met people who have often worked their entire lives but now depend on donations for their daily care.
On behalf of Luca Lifestyle Cares, Gerard made a donation to all three institutions. This support will be used for medicine, food, daily care, and improving living conditions. The visit once again emphasized why Luca Lifestyle Cares exists. It shows how necessary it is to continue helping these vulnerable groups and how every contribution makes a direct difference.
Luca Lifestyle Cares remains committed to these projects in Vietnam and will continue to make new visits in the future to see where help is most needed.
